Allegro Power Cables
Our Allegro series high end A/C Power Cables are built using an extremely well shielded, finely stranded, high purity OFC with silver-plating and are offered in either 9 or 11 gauge sizes. By way of their stranded conductor design, these cables are surprisingly flexible for their large diameter.
Great care is taken in the design and assembly of the Allegro Power Cables and the result is an audiophile-grade power cord that's able to deliver unfettered high current with an exceptionally low noise floor. Our high end Allegro power cables will feed the most demanding of electronic gear with robust, clean and quiet A/C and will likewise provide your ears with glorious music for years to come. For Preamp and Source Component applications we recommend the 11 gauge power cable models and for Power Amplifier or Power Conditioners we recommend the 9 gauge power cable model cables.
Our in-stock cable end mount connector options for Male and IEC plug sets are the Wattgate 5266i & 320i (entry level), Furutech FI-11N1(G) and Furutech FI-28(G). (Furutech FI-46(G)NCF, FI-48(R)NCF, FI-50/52(R) and FI-50(R)NCF connector sets are available by special order, contact us for price and availability). The Wattgate connectors represent good value and are a popular choice with many of our customers. The Furutech model AC connectors are several steps up the ladder in build and sound quality as you climb from FI-11 to FI-28 and beyond. Fit and finish with the Furutech models is top notch and they're a true high end audio-grade connector option with their unique construction, grounding designs and patented technologies.
With all Furutech Male/IEC connectors, we also utilize the Furutech FP-209(G) gold plated spade internally within each connector body (3 each are required per power cable end) to terminate the actual cable conductors to the connector-body taps themselves. This is a slick design that provides a vice like grip for the cable conductor-to-plug interface.
