This connector tab-orientation will allow two different audio components (e.g., router to streamer, switch to DAC, etc.) to be connected when they are sitting one above or below the other on different vertical shelf locations and the components' female RJ-45 Ethernet jacks have their tab orientation positioned at 12 o'clock and 12 o'clock (or 6 o'clock and 6 o'clock) respectively.
