The new Vivace series of audiophile interconnects in both Unbalanced RCA and Balanced XLR configurations offer true high-end audio performance for the audio enthusiast. Comprised of 24AWG (6N) 99.9999% OFC conductors along with a cross braided shield made of high purity copper, the Vivace RCA interconnects are lively, dynamic and transparent with top to bottom coherency and tonal accuracy. All of this is presented on a foundation of an exceptionally low noise floor given the effective ground and noise draining properties of its directional shielded design. Like our Allegro Unbalanced RCA Cables, the Vivace Audiophile RCA Cables can be run fairly long distances due to their low capacitance of 90pf/M, but if you need line level interconnects to run further than 20 feet, then we suggest you instead take a look at our Vivace Balanced XLR Interconnects to fulfill that role.

With their high purity copper conductors and the use of the fabulous WBT-0110Cu Nextgen locking RCA connectors, the Vivace high-end RCA Interconnects deliver a more transparent, airy and dynamic signature when compared against our Allegro series RCA cables. They’re a natural fit to the Avanti Audio house-sound by standing just ever so slightly to the warmer side of dead neutral without stepping too far toward the warm side. Vivace audiophile RCA Interconnects are highly musical with a refined clarity of detail, purity of timbre and are a great match for Solid State and Tubed components alike. The music just flows through Vivace with a sense of ease.

Like all Avanti Audio interconnects since the start, we attain quality control through small batch production and scrutinize each step during the entire construction process. All connections and connectors are expertly assembled by hand and with soldered connections, we employ Cardas Quad Eutectic Solder exclusively.

Our Vivace Unbalanced RCA Interconnects are fitted with the WBT-0110Cu Nextgen  locking RCA connector. This connector is a unique low mass design that with its adjustable locking barrel will fit all RCA sockets perfectly snug. The blue colored locking barrel feels like a lightweight plastic material but it’s not. Its actually a very lightweight Aluminum/Magnesium (ALMg) alloy that allows the overall connector to remain low mass and also serves to reject spurious EMI interference's if and when present. The connector has a characteristic impedance of 75 Ohms so it works equally well in both analog and digital applications.

How to use the WBT-0110Cu Nextgen Locking RCA Connectors: (See the last image shown on this page or download the WBT Locking RCA Connector Instruction Sheet .pdf version)

There are two main pieces that comprise the WBT Locking RCA connectors, one is the outer blue locking barrel that rotates for tightening purposes and the other is the connector body that the barrel screws down onto and contains the working contact points that mate with a female RCA socket/jack. When loosening or tightening the locking barrel ALWAYS use two hands to do so. Using one hand’s index finger and thumb, hold the connector right at the end of the connector body itself where the gold-colored band is partially covered with color coded red or black heat shrink tubing. At the butt end of the connector body is where the cable enters and at that very edge is a raised and knurled ring that you can hold onto. With the other hand’s index finger and thumb, twist the blue locking barrel CLOCKWISE (if you are holding the RCA connector with the tip pointing away from yourself) in order to loosen it just enough to be placed into the chassis RCA socket easily. Push the connector onto the mating RCA chassis socket and again using one hand to hold the body of the RCA connector at the rear only, use the other hand to rotate the blue locking barrel COUNTER-CLOCKWISE (if you are holding the RCA connector with the tip pointing away from yourself) to tighten it down. Turn only the blue barrel to tighten, do not allow the connector body to rotate/turn and don’t hold onto the cable itself when turning the blue locking barrel. BE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO OVER TIGHTEN or else you risk breaking the connector! The blue locking barrel only needs to be rotated at most ONE FULL TURN from the “loose” position (that allows mating the connector to the chassis RCA socket) to the fully snug position.
