Allegro Speaker Cables
Avanti Audio Allegro Speaker Cables provide the listener a remarkable amount of high-end audio performance, are finely crafted, have good looks and cost south of $1000 per pair. This combination yields one of the best audiophile speaker cable choices to marry most any loudspeaker & amplifier combination.
Our Allegro series speaker cables consist of four separate runs of cable for a stereo pair; two runs for the left channel and two runs for the right channel and are separated on both ends by solid walnut blocks of wood. The catalyzed lacquer finished walnut blocks that accompany our Allegro Speaker Cables are purely cosmetic but also act as a reminder for the user to try and keep the cables separated a little bit rather than running the individual runs tight up against each other in order to absolutely minimize any stray capacitance or micro distortions to the signal. The wood blocks can be adjusted up and down each channels' cable pair as needed to keep the runs separate and tidy. Keeping the speaker cable runs separated with a little bit of air-space between them will allow the user to appreciate the full depth of detail, slam and accuracy that these speaker cables are capable of providing. If you're looking for affordable speaker cables that punch well above their class, look no further.
Each separate run of cable in our Single-Wired speaker cables (four runs of cable total per stereo pair) are comprised of two 12-gauge ultra-fine stranded 99.999% OFC copper conductors which effectively yield an aggregate 9-gauge cable to each speaker and amplifier terminal. What this multi-cable design can bring to your music reproduction is more detail, impact and realism of instruments and sound stage in an ever so slightly warmer-side-of-neutral presentation. Though our higher-end Vivace series Speaker Cables are our reference level speaker cables, the Allegro series speaker cables get you a majority of the way there and are extremely good about simply getting out of the way to allow the listener hours of toe-tapping listening. After all, isn’t the idea behind listening to music to listen to the music and not the equipment and cables? For more information, see what our customers are saying on our Reviews Page.
We've sleeved our speaker cables with PET Expandable Braided Sleeving for durability and good looks. Speaker cables can be terminated with your choice of the German made ViaBlue 24k Gold Plated Solid Banana plugs -or- ViaBlue 24k Gold Plated Hollow Banana plugs -or- ViaBlue 24k Gold Plated 8mm Spades. We also offer WBT-0610 Cu Locking Bananas and WBT 0681 Cu Spade terminations as special order. Please contact us for pricing.
External Bi-Wired configurations are available by special order. This design effectively doubles up the runs of cabling (eight individual runs vs. four individual runs in our Single-Wired speaker cables) thus allowing the listener to take full advantage of loudspeakers that provide four terminal binding posts vs. two terminal binding posts. At the amplifier end for L+, L- & R+, R- terminals, we combine the doubled-up cables into one connector and we provide this termination with either the WBT-0681cu spades or WBT-0610 Cu Locking Bananas at no additional cost. Our Bi-Wired speaker cables are double the price of our Single-Wired designs (double the materials and labor to build) and include the WBT connector upgrade for no additional cost ($200 value). Please contact us for additional details or to discuss specifics with Bi-Wire options.

Our Allegro Speaker Cables are NOT directional in design. The "arrow" on our heat shrink logo is however the direction with which we have preconditioned the cables for use. E.g., Amplifier (output) ---> Speaker (input). For best performance, install cables being mindful of proper arrow direction.
